We are forming a new not-for-profit organization for Remote Astronomy.
Its purpose is: Viewing, imaging, collection, and public dissemination of data and photographic images created by remote imaging of astronomical objects.
We are looking for interested people to act as Board of Director officers, genreal members, and volunteers.
Forming in NJ, local participation for regular meetings is encouraged.
Membership is for all, you do not have to live in NJ to participate.
Members will have access to funded imaging sessions on remote equipment. Data and images will be pooled for collaborative efforts for data gathering, sharing, and post-processing.
The membership will be using GRAS http://www.global-rent-a-scope.com/ and http://www.lightbuckets.com as remote observatories.
